STATE UNIVERSITY, founded in 1506, its five hundred-year history makes it one of the oldest universities in Europe.

In 2003 the university was named after the life senator Carlo Bo who was the magnificent rector for fifty-four years, from 1947 to 2001, and who strongly influenced the history of the university giving it prestige and new impetus to development.

The university is structured in 11 faculties, 52 institutes, 46 first-level courses, 20 master's degree courses, 2 of which are single-cycle.

The university is divided into 10 faculties:

  • Faculty of Economics: Economics and Commerce courses, Marketing and Corporate Communication and Business Economics
  • Pharmacy faculty: courses in Nutrition Science, Herbal Techniques, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and Pharmacy
